Elsie was a long time employee of the Credit Union. Many winters were spent travelling to California with husband Tom. Elsie loved to keep moving, walking and cycling. Elsie was a lover of nature – gardening, birding and backyard wildlife. She was also a painter
with many of her oil paintings on display in her room. She loved sitting in the sun by the window reading or doing a crossword, She was an avid seamstress making much of her own clothing, as well as quilting. Elsie spent a lot of time and loved creating quilts for many of us, that we were lucky to receive and cherish.
