SCAVO, Ferdinante  "Jack" - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday August 21, 2016 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Eugenia (Bruno) Scavo (1995). Dearly loved father of Mary (David) Jones, Vince Scavo and Angela Cournoyea and father-in-law of Lynda Hudy. Cherished Nonno of Christopher (Maria) Jones, Laura Jones, Joseph (Shaye) Scavo, Amanda Scavo (Austin Munday),  Kyle Cournoyea (Amanda Bunz), Sarah Cournoyea and Kurtis Cournoyea and Bisnonno of Nina Jones and Amelia Stepnoski. Dear brother of Giacomo  (Anna) Scavo, Carmela (the late Angelo) Muraca, Giuseppina (the late Giosue) Astorino, Rosina (Antonio) Ursetta, Lina (the late Felice) Capellupo, the late Maria (the late Beniamino) Canino and the late Anna (the late Filippo) Scarpino. Dear brother-in-law of Giuseppe (the late Saverina) Bruno and Filippo (Ruth) Bruno Predeceased by his dear companion Rita D'Amico. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. The Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum.
