VAN HELSDINGEN (Kennedy), Frances 'Fran' - Passed away peacefully at Oakwood Park Lodge on Wednesday October 16, 2013 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of 54 years to Bill Van Helsdingen. Dearly loved mother of Rosemarie (John) Auld, Barbara Ann Van Helsdingen, Catharine Van Helsdingen (Sal Paonessa) and Peter William (Rosalee) Van Helsdingen. Cherished grandmother of Steven (Ashley) Auld, Christopher Auld, Makayla Van Helsdingen and Michael Van Helsdingen and great-grandmother of Jackson Auld. Dear sister of Aggie (Ray) Lavers, Madonna Pittman, Betty (Roy) Quigley, Chris (Marg) Kennedy, Andy Kennedy, Patsy (Joe) Privitera and Corina (Vern) Rideout. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Jack, Leo, Bud and Pat and her sisters Nora and Millie. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church. Cremation will follow with interment at a later date in Fairview Cemetery. The Vigil for Fran will be celebrated Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In memory of Fran donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by her family.
