Gabriel 'Gabe' Gagliardi

GAGLIARDI, Gabriel "Gabe" - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Hospice Niagara on Sunday June 29, 2014 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 53 years to Norma (Rosati) Gagliardi. Dearly loved father of Gabriel (Cathy) Gagliardi, Joanna (Paul) Thibert, Lisa (Victor) Marcon, Joe (Tia) Gagliardi and Peter (Ellen) Gagliardi. Cherished Grandpa of Patrick, Gregory , Kayla, Amanda and Olivia. Dear brother-in-law of Nick Felicetti and Catharine (Vincent) Bernardi. Predeceased by his sister Nella Felicetti. Mr. Gagliardi had worked for Canada Coach and then at Hamilton Street Railway (HSR), retiring after many years of service. He was also a longtime parishioner of St. Patrick's Church and an avid gardener who especially enjoyed his fig trees. He enjoyed all sports and was a very passionate fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Mr. Gagliardi donations to St. Patrick's Church or Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by his family.
