Garry Parker Rigby

June 7, 1934 - November 20, 1934

Garry passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 79 years. Garry was the loving son of the late Ruby and Clare Rigby. Garry was the devoted twin brother of the late Verena Witchinskyj (Michael). Garry also leaves behind his family in Cobourg, Ontario, Shirlea Brown (Ross), Brenda Summers (Ernest), Jamie Summers (Julie), Carrissa Summers (Adam), and the youngest members of the family Hailea and Jameson who loved the times Uncle Garry spent with them drawing and coloring. Garry also leaves behind many adopted family members in the local theater, many long term friendships, and co-workers of the Hilton Hotel. In 2010 Garry received one of his proudest achievements when he was inducted into the Niagara Falls Arts and Culture Hall of Fame.

Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. A time for sharing personal remembrances will take place in the chapel from 1:00 - 1:30 PM after which the family invite you to join them in a "Celebration of Life" service for Garry, as we honor his memory and a "Life Well Lived" on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 1:30 PM in the chapel.
