Gerald "Jerry" LaValley

Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife and partner of 34 years, Sharon Bolus, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and cherished memories.

He leaves behind his daughter, Charmaine LaValley (Wayne Rogers)and his son Rob Rick (Lorraine), and his stepchildren, Ronnie McKay, Judy Zimmerman (Lynn), Christine Wood (Brent). He was predeceased by his step-son Kenny McKay, who passed away in 1976.

To his grandchildren, Jerry was affectionately known as Papa Jerry. He will be deeply missed by Marianne, Tom, LynneBarry, Dale, Karrie, Brett, Rebecca, and Kristi, as well as his 19 great-grandchildren.

Jerry and Sharon also shared a loving family together. He will be remembered by his children Louann Rochat (Jack), Shari Bolus (Clay), Kerri Polston (Wesley), Tanya Bolus, and Tara Formisano (Fabio), and by his grandchildren Jamie Bolus, Aisha Willick, Billy Prest, Jordan Prest, David Rochat, Maloya Rochat, Brieann Rochat, Landon McCracken, Lenaya McCracken, Alexandria Prest, Jaxton Polston, Maddax Polston, Aidan Formisano, Alyssa Formisano, Kyle Rick, and Adam Rick Wise, along with his 17 great-grandchildren.

He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Late Albert Lamoure (Late Julie), Late Ken Lavalley (Jean), Late Paul LaVallee (Anne), Ray McKay (Ersel), Maxine Kay Scale (Dennis), Brian Beaudin (Judy), and Bill Beaudin (Linda), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Services will be held at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a chapel service at 3:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
