It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the tragic loss of our beloved father, brother, Zio, and friend on August 18th, 2026 Giuseppe (Joe) Moschella in his 58th year, who was born on February 1st 1968.
Joe leaves behind his beautiful daughter, Talia Maria Mengesha, whom he adored and loved deeply and who brought complete joy to his life.
Joe also leaves behind his beloved siblings: Francesca (Giuseppe “Pino”) Bruno; Francesco Moschella; Antonio Salvatore (Myrna) Moschella; Annamaria Lucia Moschella (Joe Corritore); and Roberto (Stephanie) Moschella.
He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews, whom he loved and adored: Vincenza (Joe) Rossi, Maria Concetta (Dave) Mongeri, Shaylea Concetta (Nick) Iannarelli, Alessandro Martinus Koldenhof, Maria Concetta Moschella, Luca Raffaele Moschella, Micheal Anthony Aban Moschella, and Annella Myrie Moschella.
Joe was also a loving great-Zio to Emma and Ava Rossi.
He was predeceased by his mother, Maria Concetta Moschella (2019), and his father, Antonio Moschella (1998).
Joe was a hardworking and kindhearted man who spent his life working hard and doing everything he could for the people he loved. Joe never hesitated to lend a helping hand and could fix almost anything with his two hands. He was a man that took pride in his work and was always there when someone needed him. His strength, dedication, and humour touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Above all, he was a loving father and devoted brother and his memory will live on through the people he loved. One of his greatest passions was the love of classic cars. He loved working on them and talking about them whether he was behind the wheel or under the hood with his tools. Cars brought him happiness and gave him something he truly loved.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the Hamilton General Hospital Staff for their compassionate support.
He will be deeply missed, but his warmth and humour will live on in our hearts forever.
