SHERIDAN, Gloria Marie (nee Lafreniere) - Passed away peacefully at Chapel Heights on Sunday February 8, 2026 at the age of 94. Preceded in death by her loving husband, George Sheridan, in 2005 after 53 years of marriage. Dearly loved mother of Nancy Sheridan (Ronald Sebastian) of Niagara Falls, Mark (Peggy) Sheridan of Kingston, and Ruth Sheridan (Reginald Smart) of Collingwood. Loving grandmother of Brian Kirley (Nicole McDowell), Karen Kirley (Patrick Pascuzzi), Alexander Kirley (Kennedy McArthur), Colleen Kirley (Daniel Trembley), Emily Sheridan (Mark Patterson), Paul Sheridan, Kristen Myskiw (Ryan Matthews), and Tamara Myskiw (Braden McConkey). Gloria was blessed with 6 great-grandchildren: Enzo, Marcello, Ada, Henry, Evie, and Ronan. Gloria devoted her life to her family, and was happiest when hosting holiday meals and backyard barbeques. She was an avid gardener and crossword player, as well as a talented artist and oil painter. A special thank you to the staff at Chapel Heights who cared for her in her final years. Cremation has occurred with interment to follow at a later date.
