It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving father, brother and friend. Gordon James Montague passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018, at the age of 62. He was the loving father to Gordon and cherished grandfather of Bryce and Gordo. Step-father to Bradley (Evelyn), Stacey (Jeff) and Robert. Dear brother of his “sis” Marilyn (Carmen) Lanni, Rose Hamill and Stanley Montague. Predeceased by his wife Sharon Montague, his mother Kathleen Jacobi and his brothers; “Billy” William George Montague and Carl Montague. Gord is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff at GNGH – “Yellow line” and Trillium Unit for their care and compassion over the past three weeks. A special thank you to Pete Scozzafava and Dylan Marquis for being lifelong friends. Your visits brought a smile to Gord’s face. You have been good friends.
Gord always danced to the beat of his own drum…he did it his way! May he rest in peace.
