Henry Waslowski

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in his 99th year. Husband of the late Lorraine Waslowski (née Rizzo). Loving father of Jim (Roxanne), Jeff (Debbie), Dianne Waslowski Gowthorpe (Peter), and Tom (Lorena). Brother of Mary Ann Diodati (Jim Sr.). Henry will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and 16 nieces and nephews who brought him much joy throughout his life. He was predeceased by his siblings, Irene Smatana, Bernice Passek and Eddie Waslowski.

Born in Myrnam, Alberta, Henry moved to Simcoe, Ontario, with his family at the age of six. He later settled in Niagara Falls, Ontario, where he spent the majority of his life. Henry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, wine making and gardening, and took great pride in tending to his garden. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of family, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, ON, on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6548 Dorchester Rd., Niagara Falls on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. Private family rite of committal in Fairview Mausoleum.
