Passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with lung cancer on Aug 3, 2016 at the age of 79. Sadly missed by her daughter Wanda and her sons Rod (Toni) and Guy (Denise). Beloved Grandma to Billy (Liz), Brandy, & Ashley. Great Grandma to Devon, Blake, & Ella. Jean will also be missed by her sisters Claudia & Gwen & brothers Jim (Ethel) & Mike (Diane). She will also be missed by her many nieces & nephews.
Jean is predeceased by her parents Marion & Gordon Moody and her brothers Gordon “Bouncer”, Roy “Butch”, Ricky, & Ernie and her sister Karen.
The family will receive friends at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel; 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Friday Aug 12, 2016 from 1 – 2 pm, with a Celebration of Jean’s Life following at 2 pm. Donations to Tender Wishes Foundation or Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated.
