Jennifer Cecelia Guarasci

Jennifer and Jeff were married in June 2003 and together they brought two beautiful children into the world, Patrick and Leah. Their family stood at the centre of everything. Many trips to Disney, special birthday celebrations, soccer games and dance practices, dinners with family and friends, and doing it up large every Christmas, Jennifer and Jeff created an environment of love, support and encouragement for their children and each other. Jennifer and Jeff have taught their children every day, leading by example, to be honest, gracious, compassionate and kind, and supported them to make their own decisions. Even through the challenging times, their life together was full of joy, love and laughs. She will be a meaningful part of all future milestones in their lives, and they are thankful for her wise guidance.

Jennifer also leaves behind her mother Christine Morneau, her sister Denise and brothers Andrew (Tammie) and Jonathan, who have provided support throughout this difficult journey and will miss her ever day. Jennifer was predeceased by her father Patrick Morneau, whose love is always felt. Jeff’s family, along with their nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also share in the sadness of her loss.

An accomplished HR Professional in her role as Chief Human Resources Officer and Associate Vice President, People & Culture at Brock University, Jennifer was an authentic and approachable leader, trusted advisor, and valued mentor and teacher. She will be greatly missed by her co-workers and the broader Brock family. In addition to her HR work, Jennifer sat on the board of directors for several non-profits in the Niagara Region, and they are grateful for her thoughtful advice and guidance.

Jennifer fought a fierce battle with breast cancer with remarkable resilience, and her family is immensely grateful for the support of their family and friends, Dr. Rachael VanderMeer and her team at the Walker Family Cancer Centre, the nurses and staff in the Oncology Inpatient Unit (3B) at Marotta Family Hospital, and the team at the Stabler Centre. Your kindness has touched us deeply and will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, on October 3, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9, CA, on October 3, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
