At the age of four, John and his family immigrated to Canada, from Sambiase, Italy. His ambition and dedication allowed him to earn degrees in History and Education from Brock University.
He enjoyed a successful career in Corporate Occupational Health and Safety, earning the respect of colleagues through his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to keeping others safe. He was especially proud of achieving the designations of CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional), and CHSC (Certified Health and Safety Consultant).
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate physicians, especially Dr. Reem Maida, the nurses and staff at the Walker Family Cancer Centre and the Marotta Family Hospital for the exceptional care and kindness shown to John throughout his illness.
Though our hearts are broken, we are comforted in knowing that John touched the lives of many through his unwavering devotion to family and friends.
