POLAK, Karl - Passed away suddenly, surrounded by his loving family at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday September 16, 2016 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 50 years to Marija (Travnikar) Polak. Dearly loved father of Charles "Chuck" Polak (Natara Evely) and Erv (Kellie) Polak. Cherished Grandpa of Tanner and Brittney Polak. Dear brother of Anne (Stane) Potocnic and brother -in-law of Ivan Domitrovic, Teresa and Ivan Kmetic and Maria Travnikar. Predeceased by his sister Marija Domitrovic, his brother Anton Polak and his wife Marija and his brother-in-law Anton Travnikar. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Mr. Polak had worked in machine repair at Dana Canada, retiring after 30 years of service.Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church.
