Kenneth Gibson

Sadly passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Bella Care Residence at the age of 92. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Lillian (née Pearson), and his beloved wife, Patricia (née Reid), with whom he shared 57 wonderful years. Ken was a devoted father to Brad (Kris), Brent, and Cassie (Kevin), and a cherished grandfather to Kayla (Stephanie), Megan (Mike), and Ashlee (Zak), as well as a great-grandfather to Mason and Alex. He was also predeceased by his siblings: Leslie (Vi), Geraldine (George), Wilfred “Hoot” (Virginia), Percy (Anna Ruth), and John (Anne), along with his best friend, John Turcotte. Ken is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Reid, and his nieces and nephews. He dedicated 40 years of his career to the Niagara Falls Review and enjoyed hobbies such as bowling and baseball. An avid fan of the Jays and Leafs, he especially loved attending his granddaughter's sporting events. A special thank you to the staff at Bella Care Residence on the Willoughby wing for their care for Ken. A private service will take place at a later date.
