

On Thursday, February 2, 2006 at the Hamilton General Hospital, Kenneth G. McKay, in his 88th year, dearly beloved husband of Catherine Easton (Katie) McKay. Dear father of David (Jeanne) McKay, Peter Cameron (Susan) McKay and the late John Kenneth (1978). Dear grandfather of David Dale (Kathie) McKay, Sean Kenneth Norman (Saturn) McKay, Andrew Cameron McKay and Siobhan Elisha McKay. Great grandfather of Jayden James McKay. Brother of Margaret Barclay. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Donald McKay, a sister Edna Shepherd and a nephew Robert Shepherd.
Kenneth retired in 1983 as a cost accountant from the Canadian Carborundum after working for 47 years. Kenneth served his country with pride during World War II with the R.C.A.F. He was an active member at Drummond Hill Presbyterian Church, serving on the Board of Managers, as a long time treasurer and a long time elder. Kenneth was very active with the Niagara Falls Curling Club, also was an avid camper and fisherman. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Cremation. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 from 1:30-2 p.m at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Ave. Service will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
