Lydia D'Amario

Lydia was predeceased by her beloved parents, Aldo and Antoinette D’Amario. She leaves behind her loving sister, Virginia (Terry) Cahill, and her cherished nephew, Michael Cahill, and nieces, Lindsay Cahill (Rachele Manett), Alicia Cahill, and Kaitlin Cahill (Andrew Jackson), as well as many dear cousins.

To her adoring nephew and nieces, Lydia was much more than an aunt; she was a beloved second mother. Family was the center of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved.

Deeply proud of her Italian heritage, Lydia embodied the values of family, generosity, and compassion. She was known for her kindness and gentle heart and will always be remembered for her warmth, caring nature, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.

Friends and family are invited to Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Patterson Funeral Home Chapel.

Cremation will follow, and a private interment will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, where Lydia will be laid to rest beside her mother.

Memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in honour of Lydia’s beloved mother.
