Passed away with her family at her side after a lengthy illness at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 78 years of age. Loving wife of the late Doug Hastings(1994). Beloved sister of Margaret Wallace & her husband Christopher, Evelyn Douglas & her husband Don, Ken Hare & his wife Pat, Nelson Hare & his wife Janice, and Alan Hare. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and her extended family. Predeceased by her brother David hare(1968), and by her mother Margaret(1977). Our thanks to the staff of Millennium Trail Manor, and Unit D at the Greater Niagara General Hospital for the care given and compassion shown toward Marilynn and her family.
In accordance with Marilynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private interment service at Fairview Cemetery.
