Maureen Heeley

Born in Toronto, Mo lived a life full of family, friends, laughter, and if you knew her, probably a few stories that got better every time they were told. She held a variety of positions throughout her life, most recently working in hotel and valet services, where she routinely spoke of her co-workers as her second family. About ten years ago, Mo moved to Niagara Falls to be closer to her beloved sister Ann and brother-in-law Doug.

Mo was the life of the party, known for her beautiful smile, generous heart, and larger-than-life personality. She loved to cook, loved to entertain, and was legendary for her Christmas decorating, because apparently - there was no such thing as too much Christmas!

Her greatest joy was her family. She was the devoted mother of Erin Cove and the incredibly proud grandmother of Hailey, Liam and Ben whom she adored and loved to spoil.

Mo was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Lila Neely, and sister of the late Ann Chappell (Doug) and William Neely (Merilyn). She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Lori, Chris, Heather and Jonathan and their families.

Mo leaves behind countless memories, laughter, good food, spectacular Christmas decorations, and a whole lot of love. She will be deeply missed, forever loved and never forgotten.

There will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held later in September, with the date and details to be announced
