Beloved wife of the late Garth Tustin (2023) for 54 wonderful years. Loving mother of Kyle (Laura) of Waterloo and Sara of Niagara Falls. Dear sister of Brian Mulligan (Marcella), and predeceased by her siblings Joan, Anne, Eileen, Margret (Bunny), Rosemary, Eddie, Jimmy, John, and Bobby. Maureen will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
As a teenager, Maureen worked at the Table Rock Shop, where she formed lifelong friendships with Ann and Ada. She later concluded her career with Niagara Dental Group, where she was valued by colleagues and patients alike.
Maureen was a devoted member of the St. Patrick's Church community and always cherished her years at Loretto Academy. Despite many health challenges in recent years, she continued to face life with remarkable patience, an enduring sense of humour, and an easy-going spirit. She remained deeply appreciative of the kindness shown by her family, friends, and caregivers, whose love and support meant so much to her.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 4673 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
