DOUCETTE, Michael - Passed away suddenly while travelling with his loving wife of 45 years, Veronica, in Beijing, China on Wednesday April 16, 2014. Caring father of Jeffrey (Janet), Daniel and Jennifer (Greg) Eller. Proud, devoted Papa and best friend of Munro, Quintin and Nora, with whom he shared a love of trains. Caring brother of Vincent (Dawn) Doucette, Bryan (Ron) Garnett-Doucette and Brenda Doucette (nephew Kyle). Michael was a teacher for many years and last taught at A.N. Myer Secondary School before retiring. In his 15 years of retirement, Michael enjoyed golfing, travelling and spending time with his grandkids. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME , 6062 Main St. visiting Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Scapular Church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
