Mileva Stec

STEC, Mileva (nee Bojovic) passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at the St Catharines General Hospital on Sunday  May 19, 2024. Beloved wife of 63 years to Danilo. Cherished mama of Vesna Stec (Ron), Mitchell  Stec (Jewellee); Steve Stec(Joan) and Michael Stec (Tamara),  Proud Baba of Jeremy(Natalie), Ryan(Kristen) Todd, Tyler(Maria), Sacha, Isobel , Iris , Elisha and  Michelle (Kevin). Prababa to Isaiah, Mckinley and Mason. Predeceased by her parents, Todor and Radmila Bojovic, sisters Stojanka, Ruza and Radusha and brothers, Miodrag and Stevo. In 1970 Mileva and Danilo emigrated from Yugoslavia to Canada.  Selflessly they worked hard to build a loving home for their family.  Mileva retired from Ferree Leather.  She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and cooking.  Countless hours were spent with friends and family sitting at the dining room table, with Mileva sharing stories about her childhood and boasting about her grandchildren. Deepest gratitude to Dr. Maida and the incredible team at the Walker Cancer Center for the compassionate care and support that was afforded to Mileva and family.  Friends are invited to join the family at Patterson Funeral Home 6062 Main St, Niagara Falls on Friday May 24, 2024.  Visitation will be from 10 am until 1pm.
