BLACK, Nellie - Passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday February 11, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late James Black (2003). Dearly loved mother of Florence (the late Sonny) Doiron, Jean (the late Gary) Stewart, Patrick (Karen) Dodd, Richard (Shirley) Dodd, Gerry Dodd, Kathy (Tom) Doiron, Darlene (James) Shavalier and Margaret (Gord) South and step-mother of Gwen and Larry Ferguson, Walter and Lorraine Black. Lovingly remembered by her 29 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sons Larry, David and Frank Dodd and her sisters Betty and Ivy. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
