Uncle Bud was full of kindness and grace, and I admire the way that he lived. Love and condolences to the Rebstock family and his community of friends.

What a super guy. I met Bud at curling and can't tell how many good times there were with him. He always had a smile and was a pleasure to know and be around him. I haven't seen Bud for a number of years, but he was still memorable. Quite a gentleman always.

Thank you for streaming your Dad’s funeral Mass! It was a beautiful tribute to your Dad and it made me feel a bit closer to you all.
Our hearts are heavy for your loss, of your dear Father . Bud was an amazing man! It gives me some peace to know that he and your Mom are together forever.
I am thankful for all of our beautiful memories of both of your parents , as your Dad was the  last of the O’Connor generation.
We were blessed to know them and love them all.

Bud lived a good life and a full life and he will be missed.
I remember meeting him for the first time in 1985 and thinking that he seemed like a great guy.   Not many people are learning to ski in their 40s!
Our condolences to Tom, John, Mary Beth and Jim.  We hope that you can treasure the memories of your wonderful father.

I have fond memories of Uncle Bud; his smile and laugh, his love of sailing and skiing (especially Sunday night skiing) his gentle kindness to grandma and grandpa, his love of his family, and devotion to Aunt Sheila.

      I was so sad to hear the death of your Father. He sat behind me at Friday daily mass and always had a warm greeting  and smile. He was very kind and he will be deeply missed from Our Lady of the Scapular family. May be find peace now in the arms of Jesus and be reunited with your Mom whom he missed greatly. GOD Bless you all during this difficult time.

Uncle Bud was the sweetest uncle anyone could have. He was a very soft and gentle man. I have so many memories of various family gatherings where Bud was always smiling. My mother Louise, his sister, had a very special spot in her heart for Bud. He was special.

I know Tom for quite some time and we were on a men's team for quite some time. I offer my condolences Tom at losing your father. It's a sad tim but also a time to rejoice his gifts to you, the memories you have of him and the important lessons you learned from him. Your father seemed like a great man with a huge heart. Reminds me of you. All the best from Gerry Ruygrok.  I will always remember the lessons you gave me, probably those you received from your dad- dedication,  perseverance, hard work, excellence and taking care of self.

While visiting Thomas, Lillian and the boys in Oakville, I had several opportunities to “tag along” to Niagara Falls for Rebstock family get-togethers. Shiela, Bud, Mary Beth and Jim always made me feel welcome.  
After Shiela’s passing, my elderly mother and I, with Lillian, visited Bud. We had a pleasant afternoon on his back patio. As usual, Bud was very welcoming, friendly, good-natured and a pleasure to spend time with.
My condolences to the family. I will keep Bud in my prayers.

To everyone in Bud's family:  I cannot tell you how heartbroken I was (and am) to learn of his going from our midst.  Bud seemed to be "omnipresent" in my life, starting when I first met him and Sheila (and so many of you) during my time at Our Lady of the Scapular -- yet also in the parishes I have served at since then, I often found Bud present when he could be, particularly on Good Friday.  I experienced many social occasions in Bud and Sheila's company, and thus I cherish such fond memories of them both.  Truly, the parish and its worship meant so much to them, as they held on tenaciously to their faith, despite any adversity (such as Sheila's years of health challenges).  I share the pain of your loss and hope to visit with you all in the coming days: be assured of my perpetual prayers for him -- and for you, too.  (Fr.) Peter

I came to know Bud through membership in the Holy Name Society and as a parishioner at Our Lady of the Scapular Parish. He had many outstanding qualities as a pious and deeply religious man: a  remarkably strong Catholic faith, deeply humble,, very charitable  with a  pleasant , smiling  attitude. His mild mannered and positive disposition was always appreciated whenever we met and chatted.. No number of words could really express how grateful I am to have known  Bud. He has been on my daily prayer list for a good length of time and he will continue to do so. I am sure he is now in a place of everlasting peace that he so richly desrves, with the God he so deary loved. My thoughts and prayers are with Bud, and my deepest condolences to his family. May his soul and the souls of of all of the faithfully departed though the mercy of God rest in peace.
