Rebecca Irene Edwards

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beautiful mother, Rebecca “Becky” Irene Edwards, at her home in Niagara Falls on the evening of Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 72. Never far from Becky’s heart was Jessica, her eldest daughter and the ever present, loving and attentive mother of Sarah Almost and Lance Almost, and the much loved “Gram” of Emily Almost, Eve Pickles, Christopher Almost, and Maytrix Tisi. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Danny Edwards, Karen Olsen, Vincent Edwards, and Christopher Edwards, and lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephew Michelle Williams, Amanda Robinette, Stefanie Seither, and Eric Edwards. She leaves behind her dearest and closest friend Charlene Bell, as well as her kindhearted neighbours Dwayne and Heather, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who cherished her companionship.

Becky lived with a spirit of contentment and gratitude. Always grounded in the present, yet deeply appreciative of her past and the connections she nurtured throughout her life. Through her passion for dog grooming, she formed many lasting friendships and shared her love for animals with everyone she met. A dedicated volunteer and beloved member of St. Thomas More Church, Becky gave her time and kindness generously. She was carefree, joyful, and happiest when surrounded by family, friends, and laughter.

In keeping with Becky’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebration of Becky’s life will be held at Patterson Funeral Home, 6062 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 1:00–4:00 p.m.
