Renald "Ray" Sexton

Passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 25, 2017. Ray was born March 2, 1929 in Maria, Quebec to Gordon and Alice. He is predeceased by his brothers; Earl, Burns, Jeremiah, Reginald, and Patrick and his sister; Queenie Roussy. Survived by his beloved wife Celestine, his brother Roddrick and sister Theresa Bourdon. Loving father of Cliff (Teresa), Gord (Maureen), Shawn, and Dwayne. Proud grandfather of Colin (Paulina), Meighan (Dan), Lauren (Sebastian), Taylor, Ryan, Aaron, Dallas, Nolan, Jocelyn, Rielly, and Daniella. Great-grandfather of Oliver.

Ray retired in 1993 from Steed & Evans Construction after a lifelong career in construction. He was also a very proud member of the Knights of Columbus; a Past Grand Knight with the K of C Council 1652, and also a member of the 4th Degree. He was also a longtime member of St. Patrick Church.

Resting at HETHERINGTON & DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. (905-354-5614). Friends may call Tuesday, June 27 from 7-9pm and Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Service by the Knights of Columbus will be held Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. Patrick Church, 4673 Victoria Ave. (905-354-7451). Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
