Romula Abad Acenas

Born on September 17, 1935, she lived a life defined by love, strength, faith, and devotion to her family and community. She touched the lives of countless people through her kindness, generosity, wisdom, and unwavering compassion. Throughout her 90 years, she served as a source of comfort, guidance, and inspiration to all who knew her.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose love knew no bounds. She created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished traditions that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her resilience, grace, and selfless spirit were evident in every aspect of her life.

She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her enduring faith, her dedication to her loved ones, and the countless sacrifices she made to ensure the happiness and well-being of others. Her legacy is one of love, perseverance, and family unity.

She is survived by her son, Ferdinand and daughter-in-law Nerlita, grandchildren: Clarence, Irene, Mayleene, Cherry-Anne, Paul, and John Peter, great-grandchildren: Zennia, Zayden, Rizal, Elijah, Aaron, Xavier, Kyrie, Katelyn, and Maya, extended family members, and many dear friends who will forever treasure her memory. She was predeceased by loved ones who welcomed her into eternal rest.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the many precious memories she leaves behind and in the profound impact she had on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love will remain with us always, guiding us and giving us strength.

Visitation will take place at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9, CA, on June 30, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on July 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9, CA, on July 2, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
