Rosa Dell'Aera

DELL'AERA, Rosa (nee Mirabelli) - Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Friday January 27, 2023 at the age of 94, a few days before her 95th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Biagio (2001) and loving mother of Rose Mary Dell'Aera and Vito (Carmine) Dell'Aera. Cherished Nonna of Danielle Morton, Kris Morton, Adrian Dell'Aera (Stephanie Tatzel), Raymond Dell'Aera and great-grandmother of Angelina Bonato and the late Bennett Bonato (2004). Rosa is survived by her brother Sam (the late Linda) Mirabelli, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Teresina (Luigi) Folino, Saverio (Rosina) Mirabelli and Nicolina (Vincenzo) Medici. Rosa immigrated to Canada from Italy in 1950, where she met her beloved husband Biagio and was married in 1952. She will be forever remembered as a strong and courageous women who was firm in her beliefs, her pride in family and the devotion she showed in her life. A true moderator of love and life. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Wednesday February 1, 2023 from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 11 am at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. In memory of Rosa and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Canada or McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation, and would be appreciated by her family.
