Rosa Mucciarone

MUCCIARONE, Rosa Filomena (nee Marano) - Passed away peacefully with her son by her side at the Millennium Trail Manor on Friday August 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Alfred (2000) and devoted mother of John Mucciarone, the late Nicolina Mirabella (2015) and her son-in-law Angelo Mirabella. Cherished Nana of Lisa Mirabella (Andrew Mason), Matthew (Amanda) Mirabella and Luke Mirabella. Proud great-grandmother of Nico and Luca Mirabella. Rosa is survived by her sister Angiolina (late Benedetto) DiRienzo and sister-in-law Angiolina Marano. Predeceased by her parents Pasquale and Antonetta Marano, siblings Felice (Lucia) Marano, Domenic (Adelaide) Marano, Louis Marano, Victoria Marano and brothers and sisters-in-law. Rosa was strong in spirit, unshakable in will, and fiercely independent, a woman whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Feisty and full of life, she spoke her mind with courage and lived her truth with grace. Her love was deep and unconditional. She worked hard in order to provide the best for her family, whether it was preparing her famous lasagna or tending to her garden, she poured her heart into every detail. Her memory was nothing short of extraordinary. She lived independently up until just recently with the quiet dignity that defined her. A devout Catholic, her faith was her foundation upon which she built her life. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Millennium Trail Manor for their wonderful care especially Dr. McGarry. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Tuesday September 2, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday September 3, 2025 at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Peace Church with the Rite of Entombment to follow at Pleasantview Mausoleum.
