Dear mother to Rosina Lucia (Franco Cimino), Maria (the late Giovanni Orlando), the late Antonio Aurora (Rose), Pina (Nicola Raso), Alda Aurora, Angela (Vincent Piraino) and Florence (Gus Benevedes). Rosaria leaves behind a legacy of 23 adored grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Rosaria worked hard all of her life and was the main cook at Mama Mia’s Restaurant where she worked until retirement. She was recognized as a great baker and award-winning cook for her exceptional culinary abilities. She never hesitated to lend a hand and offer help to make cookies and baked goods for various events and many of her recipes continue to be shared amongst family and friends today. Cooking for her family brought Rosaria so much joy and the more that gathered around her table, the happier she was.
Special thanks go to the staff at Southlake Village Residential Care for looking after Rosaria over the last 18 months, tending to her daily needs and caring for her well-being, including Marylou, Faye, Marybeth, and Victoria; thank you all for always being there for our mother. Thank you also to the palliative care team at Southlake Regional Health Centre for keeping Rosaria comfortable in her final hours. And finally, heartfelt gratitude goes out to Linda O’Connor, Lori Zieba, Lois and Larry Wigelius and the Nourizadeh family who all helped keep a smile on Rosaria’s face, showing her care and compassion always; you truly impacted our mother’s life.
