Rosaria "Rosina" Fruci

Born on September 18, 1926, in Curinga,Catanzaro, Italy, Rosina immigrated to Canada at the age of 26, where she built a beautiful life rooted in faith, hard work, and an unwavering devotion to her family. Like so many of her generation, she left her homeland in search of a better future, building a life in Canada through courage, perseverance, and determination. Her strength, resilience, and unconditional love created a legacy that will continue for generations.

Rosina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincenzo, the love of her life, who passed away in 1972. After more than five decades apart, they are together once again.

She leaves behind her loving children, Mary (Mario) Muraco and Andy (Mary) Fruci, and her cherished daughter-in-law, Karen Fruci.

She was predeceased by her beloved sons, Anthony (Tony) and Dominic, whom she loved beyond measure.

A devoted Nonna and Great-Nonna, she will be forever loved and deeply missed by her grandchildren and their beloved spouses: Jack, Rosemary, Vincent Paul, Michael, Vincent Blake, Anthony, and Andrew and her 12 great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy and whom she adored beyond words.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Rosina (late Francesco) Caruso; brother-in-law Joe (Mara) Fruci; and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends in both Canada and Italy.

Rosina was predeceased by her parents, Andrea and Fiorina Anello; her beloved sister, Antoinetta (Giovanni) Trovato; and her brothers Domenico (Marianna), Bruno (Mima), Giuseppe (Mima), and Andrea (Teresina) Anello.

Rosina’s greatest happiness was having her family gathered around the table, sharing homemade pasta, conversation, and laughter. Deeply devoted to her Catholic faith, she lived her life with grace, humility, and compassion. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her profound wisdom, thoughtful advice, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to family values. She was the heart of her family, leading by example and teaching the importance of faith, love, kindness, respect, and always putting family first.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her beloved husband, her cherished sons, her parents, her sister, her brothers, and all those who went before her. Her love, wisdom, faith, and gentle spirit will continue to guide and inspire her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.

Her home was always open, her table always full, and everyone who entered was welcomed with Love!

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

Visitation will take place at Patterson Funeral Home Ltd., 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Church, 5740 Buchanan Ave, Niagara Falls, on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery, 4501 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls.
