Kirk and I were shocked to hear the news of Shirley. She was one of the most generous and caring people we will ever meet in our lifetime. I'll never forget how she would look after Kirk and the boys while I was at work, and then have a drink and her favorite rocker ready for me when I got back, at the fire. Our only regret is that we didn't stay in touch throughout the years. Please know that she touched many people in her lifetime and will be missed by many.

We never know the reason why one has to go or where, but one thing i do know that each person plays a special role in our lives whether big or small. I am sad to hear of Shirley passing away. She left a lot of good memories behind to her friends and family. Shirley, although I knew so little of her life and still got along with her quite well in school. I wish the family great strength. Your last days were spent doing for your family .Even showing your sons girl how to whip eggs so they come out fluffy years ago was was important to you because she would soon be whipping his eggs .Every day you will be remembered for all the things you did that at the time  seemed unimportant .To our new angle I say Gods speed Shirley.

I was sincerely sorry to hear that Shirley has recently made her journey into the spirit world. 

She was such a nice lady. I can still see her smiling face, hear her giddy laugh, and see her in my minds eye giving Jamie a bath in the sink in the bathroom at the campground. 

Shirley was one of those rare people who never ran hot or cold when I seen her but instead she always treated me to a smile and a laugh.

She was an attentive mother, loving sister, caring wife, and good friend. Shirley was a good person who left the world a better place because the imprint of her spirit lives on within her children and those whose life she touched.

May your thoughts and memories of her be with you always and in allways.
