Stephen Morgan Lafferty

LAFFERTY, Stephen "Steve" - Passed away after a brief illness at St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday April 25, 2013 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of 50 years to Georgette (Thibodeau) Lafferty. Dearly loved father of Margaret (Mark) DeMille, Kevin (Mary-Ann) Lafferty, Paul Lafferty and Michael Lafferty. Cherished Grandpa of Max, Ben and Grace Lafferty and Caleb DeMille. Dear brother of Moyra (Scott) Campbell and Jack (Suzanne) Lafferty and brother-in-law of Danielle (Victor) Pietrangelo and Louis (Margaret) Thibodeau. Loving son-in-law of Leona Thibodeau. Steve was a devout parishioner of St. Patrick's Church where he served as an usher and altar server and he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Hennepin Council #1652. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Steve donations to the Walker Family Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by his family.
