Vincenzo 'Vincent' Bernardi

BERNARDI, Vincenzo 'Vincent' - Passed away peacefully, with his loving family at his side, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday September 27, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 62 years to Catherine (nee Rosati) and cherished father of Tina (Louis) Vescio, Carla (Marco) Perri and Diana DiRuscio. Loving and devoted Nonno of Vincent (Stephanie) Vescio, Rita Vescio (Nick Caligiuri), Gianmarco Perri and Cristiano Perri. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Michelina Renda, Cenzina (Franco) Calindro, Sara (Giuseppe) Fragnito,  brother Bernardino (Daniela) Bernardi, brother-in-law Battista Gueresse and sisters-in-law Edith Bernardi and Norma Gagliardi, as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his brother Bruno Bernardi, sister Maria Gueresse and brothers-in-law Giuseppe Renda and Gabriel Gagliardi. Vincenzo was born in LaMeza, Terme, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy and immigrated to Canada in September 1951. He owned and operated Youngstown Barbershop in Youngstown, New York for 45 years. Vincenzo was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
