It is with Great Sorrow that we announce the loss of a Great Lady, Violet Koabel, 80 years young, on Saturday January 15, 2011 after a brief and courageous battle.
Wife of the late Philip Wm. Koabel (1989). Loving Mom of Darlene (the late Gregory) Willick, Cheryl (Wally) Cutts, and Brenda (Richard) Gelineau. Extraordinary Grandma of Jennifer (Dion) Potestio, Jeremy (Tanya) Willick, Wally Cutts Jr.( Kathleen), Charlyn (Matt) Barrington, Amanda Cutts (Tama), Rick Gelineau (Sabrina) and Aaron Gelineau. Treasured Gee Gee of Annalea and Katelyn Potestio, Lucas Barrington and Gram Willick. Loving sister of Ken, Gord, Wilf, Dorothy, Evelyn, and Doreen. Pre-deceased by her parents Fredrick and Mabel (Eden) Bath and siblings Fred, Ted, Freda, and Robert.
Family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Ave. Niagara Falls on Tuesday January 18th , 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday January 19th from 10- 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service in the Chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens in Fonthill.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children or Wellsprings Cancer Support- Stevensville branch.
