Wilfred 'Al' Allen Bird

BIRD, 'Al' Wilfred Allen - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Wednesday July 24, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of 69 years to Marylou (nee O'Neil) and cherished father of Ken (Linda) Bird, Linda Desson, Ron Bird, Debbie Pearson (Bruce Gow). Loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his 4 brothers. Al’s true love of 69 years, Marylou, and his children were his world and he was our strength. He will be dearly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to be a part of his life. A private service to remember Al will take place at a later date.
