Bill was born in Niagara Falls on September 21, 1937. A skilled machinist by trade, he spent the majority of his career at General Motors in St. Catharines. He and his late wife, Angela “Angie”, briefly relocated to Vancouver, where he worked with BC Sugar, before returning to the Niagara region to build their life together.
He leaves behind a profound legacy of warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family and faith. Bill Sr. was a loving and devoted husband to Angie, whom he cared for selflessly during the final years of her life. They are now reunited.
He was a guiding light and constant source of wisdom for his children and their families. Bill Sr. is survived by his loving sons, Bill Jr. (and his wife, Anna) and Tim (and his wife, Shelley). His memory will be forever cherished by his adored grandchildren, Alexandra and Katherine, who brought him endless joy. He will also be deeply missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and lastly his cat, Benz.
Always quick to offer a warm smile—often accompanied by his unique, boisterous laugh—Bill touched everyone he met. Known throughout the family as "Mr. Fix It," he was always just a phone call away and would drop anything to assist a family member or friend in need, doing so selflessly and occasionally with a few choice adjectives.
For decades, Bill could be found spending his free time at Oakes Park in the summer or at one of Niagara's arenas in the winter, as well as many other venues throughout Ontario and beyond, supporting his sons, nieces, and nephews in their various activities. In more recent years, he was a devoted supporter of his granddaughter's activities in Burlington and throughout North America, always offering encouragement and wisdom.
Bill will be forever missed, but his legacy will live on in the unique memories cherished by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

We would also like to thank Dad's neighbour and dear friend, Richard, who spent many hours with Dad over the last while.
