Passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Arnold W. Johnston. Loving mother of Arnold Jr., Richard (Cindy) and Michelle (Mike) Jansen. Dear Granny of Shannon (Bob), Mairghread (Tim), Erik, Eryn, Katie and Jennifer. Sister of Lena, Cecille, Sheila, Martina, Henry, Raymond, Leander, Johnnie, and Bert. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Elizabeth Comeau and four brothers; Roger, Felix, Clarence and Ralph. Yvonne will be missed by her former daughter in law Eileen Black, the entire Johnston family, many friends and neighbours. She will be remembered for her love of animals and will be missed dearly by her dogs Bugsy and Prince.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel; 5176 Victoria Ave. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
