Nina Grozak, age 77, of East Lyme, passed away on January 5, 2023 after a long and painful illness. She was born on January 18, 1946 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The city was still in ruins after WW2. Her parents are Peter and Natalya Britov. After Nina graduated from High school in 1964, she went on to study English at the Institute of Foreign Languages. In 1967 Nina married Val Grozak in Kiev and they went on to have a daughter, Yelena. In 1990 family immigrated to the US. Nina found a job as a Massage Therapist and worked at Norwich In and Spa for 20 years. She is survived by her husband Val Grozak, her daughter Yelena Senia, her son in law Marc Senia, and two grandsons Lucas (11) and Landon (6). Services will be held at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home on 13 Lake Ave, Niantic, CT on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 3:00pm.
