He was born on October 13, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Glen and Geraldine Ward Monk.
Randy retired from East Lyme Schools. He also worked for Mijoy and Black Hawk Party Boats, and Mitchell Trust. He was a avid fisherman, and loved cooking. Randy was always willing to help people and would always help with snow removal for people that were unable to shovel.
Randy is survived by his wife Leigh Reagan; his brother Charles William Ward of Ambridge, PA; his sisters Karen Vaillancourt of Monroeville, PA, and Stacy Monk of McKeesport, PA; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings Darrell, Gregory, and Carrie Ann Monk.
His family would like to give special thanks to Hospice and especially to Rob and Lenore for all of their support and care.
A private burial in Pittsburgh will take place at a later date.
