No question that Niantic lost a little piece of it's culture and history with Bud's passing.  Always a gentleman, a quick wit, and a great sense of humor.  An avid love of sailing, a fireman, and a friend.  He will be missed by many.  My condolences go out to you all.

Bud was always full of wit and charm.  And what a sense of humor! So sorry for your loss.  God bless.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Rice's passing...he was a good friend of my parents Bud & Peggy Dowd.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bud was a wonderful gentleman with a fantastic sense of humor. He will be missed. May his memory be eternal.
