Marie Elaine LeBlanc Perret passed away peacefully at her home on March 12, 2025, at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lionel. They were married for 53 years. Her parents, Ruby and Louis “Cowboy” LeBlanc, Sr., her brother Lindsey, her in-laws, Angele and Lionel Perret, Sr. and her daughter-in-law, Stacey M. Perret.
She is survived by her brothers, Louis (Janet) and Lannie (Sharon). Her three children, Melissa, Darin (Sydney), and Lonnie (Charlotte). Her grandchildren, Ashton (Tori), Lauren, Drake, and Taylor, and the apple of her eye, her great-grandchild, Christian.
She had many clerical jobs but her favorite job was being a kindergarten aide at Sacred Heart of Jesus School. She also worked as a day care director at Discovery House in Alexandria until her retirement.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Alter Society, Happy Homemakers, and RSVP Volunteer.
She loved spending time with her extended family and friends and loved watching her Hallmark Christmas movies.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17, at Sacred heart church, 401 Spruce St. Norco, LA. Visitation will begin at 9AM with Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11AM. Burial to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
