Norma St. Pierre Duhon

Norma St. Pierre Duhon passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 79 at Ormond Nursing and Care Center in Destrehan. She retired from St. Charles Borromeo and had a love of cooking and dancing. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years James “Smokey” Duhon Jr. She is also preceded in death by her parents Joseph Numa St Pierre and Neva Marie St Pierre and her siblings Edith St Pierre Martin, McLeon St Pierre, Vernon St Pierre, Julia St Pierre Beeland, Juanita St Pierre Rodriguez, Gene St Pierre, Rita St Pierre Templain, and Gerald St Pierre.

She is survived by her children; Todd M. Duhon (Angela), David J. Duhon (Vickie), Michelle D. Bourg (Kevin) and Melissa D. Mollere (Matt). She will live on in her grandchildren; Kevin and Shawn Bourg, Glenn, Katelyn, Hailey and Cody Duhon and Madison, Michael and Mason Mollere and her 10 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

We would like to give special thanks to those who took such good care of her. Her caregivers Jody McDaniel and the late Paulette Cambre, Hope Bourgeois, Ormond Nursing and Care Center and St. Catherine Hospice.

Services will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, public visitation at 10:00 am and Mass to follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow the Mass. All services will take place at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, LA 70047.
