It has taken a while for me to be able to write my memory of Sheldon.  He was, as we called each other, my brother from another mother.  He was my neighbor and fast became my best friend.  We would sit out on his patio for hours just talking and sharing stories of our lives.  He was Uncle Sheldon to first Aimee, a toy poodle and then Gigi, my 2nd poodle.  He spoiled her rotten.  Sheldon had a heart of gold and a wicked sense of humor.  We laughed together and we cried together.  I miss my buddy.  I have many wonderful memories to hold on to.  We will see each other again.  I know Aimee was waiting for him at the rainbow Bridge.  He was loved by many and loved his family tremendously.  He is happy, pain free and with his loved ones.  God Bless you Sheldon Simoneaux, Sr.  

I only knew him for a short time, but he was a pleasure to talk with and had some great stories! Peace be with his family.

When I think of Sheldon I can see, as clear as day,  him dancing at the festivals.  I can see his smile.  Seems like just yesterday.  That was a festival going fool!!!  Thank you guys for updating my mom through the years.  We haven't seen him in a long time, but always appreciated the updates on how he was doing.  I'm so sorry for your loss.
