Virginia Phillips Denton, 92, entered into heaven on May 27, 2018, where she reunited with her beloved husband, Jesse L. Denton Sr. She is survived by her loving children, Joyce Denton Clark (Donald), Jesse L. Denton Jr. (Barbara), and Thomas H. Denton (Diane). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sherry G. Dickens (Rickey), Michael Denton, Lesley Parker (Michael), Kim J. Holley (Chris), Samuel T. Denton (Ashely), Lauren Arant (Dan), and Karis Denton (Chad Callaway), as well as 11 great grandchildren and one on the way, and her sister, Anne Shirley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Blondie Spencer Phillips, and her siblings, Thomas Rex Phillips Jr and Hazel Phillips Garret.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. Norco, LA, on Thursday, May 31, 2018 beginning at 5 PM, funeral service will be held at 7 PM. Visitation to resume Friday, June 1, 2018 at Bethany Baptist Church, 126 Church St, Slate Springs, MS at 2 PM. with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
