Beverly Ann Laird, 61, child of God, passed into heaven Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, Va. Beverly was a special daughter of Galen W. and Mildred S. Laird. She lived in Virginia Beach. She is survived by her parents, Galen and Millie, her sister Margaret and husband Mike of Stuarts Draft, brothers Mikel and his wife Cindy of Havelock, NC, Mark and his wife Sharon of Petal, MS, and David of Virginia Beach. She also had 9 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Funeral Home by Rev. Scott Mims. Condolences may be offered at www.woodlawngroup.com.
