Carl was born on April 16, 1930 in Norfolk, VA to Clester and Belinda Fulcher.
He graduated from Maury H.S. in 1948. He married his first wife Sandra Davenport, then his second wife Eva Ackiss. Carl worked as an upholsterer until he joined the Navy. He was honorably discharged on July 18, 1953. Afterwards, he went back to work as an upholsterer, then as foreman for a construction company.
Carl is survived by his son, David Fulcher (Tammy), of Hertford, NC, his daughter, Carol M. Dann (Michael) of McMinnville, TN, three grandchildren; Dana (Jason), Jessica and Cynthia (Jacob), and two great grandchildren; Celine and Leelynn. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Derek Fulcher, of Chesapeake, VA.
Calling hours will be Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4pm - 6pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral service is Friday, November 13, 2015 @ 10am at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
