All of you are so dear to my heart! I couldn't wait to see Cathy when we came to visit. She brightened everyone's life. I remember discussing the various shades of lipstick that were best for our complexion and hair color (Both of our hair colors changed more than once over the years.) She made me feel extra special. -what a gift to give a cousin. Dan and Zac were blessed to know and love her, too. Singing together in our home was just too good to be true. Her beautiful smile radiates my heart. All of you continue to be in our prayers.

That is a beautiful picture of Cathy - thank u so much for sending it to me.
Y’all wrote a perfect obit too. It really shined with Cathy’s personality. She was so generous with her warmth & love.
I can remember when ur Mom & Dad came to c us with Donald & Cathy. We were all little & had a grand time playing house & neighbors in the basement while the grownups stayed upstairs.
Of course I enjoyed talking & doing things with you & Julie when u came along too. It’s just that Donald & Cathy had a little head start.
Mae Nell, Cathy sang so beautifully at ur wedding I cried. She truly had a gift & I felt blessed to hear her sing.
A lot of my happiest memories r times spent with all of u through the years.

When my mother and I found out that Cathy had passed away, we were so sorry to hear that someone so full of life was taken too soon. We also met under unusual circumstance, but she was like a member of our family also. Sorry we had not seen her in a while but she was a caring soul and wish we had kept in closer contact. Our condolences are with all her friends and family. Of which there were many. Our thoughts are with you all. She will be missed.

She was too good for this world and probably too good for me as well. But I'll always think of her fondly and with love. We made a lot of memories and she made me a better person. She kept pictures of us together until her last days. I hope she looked at those and got some small measure of the comfort that I wish I'd been able to provide in person. But life sometimes has other plans and you think you have time and you hope for the best. I hoped she would finally beat the disease and be able to live the rest of her life with no more health problems. She was a fighter but went through so much. Now she can finally rest without pain or discomfort. Sing on in heaven as the angel you were in life, Cathy.

Cathy was such a vibrant person, she sang at our wedding and had the voice to compliment her personality. We were fortunate enough to have worked together along with her brother and sister back in the Pollard's days. She always had the Simmons smile......
