Mom, 
       I am so sorry that you are going through this tragedy, we will get through this together and lean on each other and support each other selflessly just like Doug did. He would help anyone any possible way that he could. Even though you two had divorced years ago you were still his queen,  his world, he loved you more than any woman in this world and he wanted to take care of you the best that he could. 

To Jennifer, 
            Your dad loved you so much and I know those words weren't said as often as they should have but look at his actions, when things would be rough and problems would arise he made sure that you and Michael and john were somewhere safe and that you were taken care of to the best of his ability, he may have taken a stern approach to some things but I believe that it is because he saw a strength in you that you didn't see yourself, when we feel the world is stacked against us we are consumed with that fear and dont see our true potential. I know that your heart aches and I know that you have so many worries and fears about the future, we will stand as one and get the answers to the questions that can be answered and we honor his memory through our actions. 

To my dearest Tracey Ann,
          We have spoke at length about so much about your father and all the things that made us laugh and smile and about the things that drove you up a wall. We have spoken about your fears, about your confusion and about your loss. We spoke of sentimental items and selfless love, we spoke about him offering to help a stranger fix a taillight that was burnt out. About he always had a wawa soda cup within 3 feet of him. Dad was never perfect but he never claimed to be and he always made a point to show how much he loved and cared in many ways. I will always carry the words that he shared with me and seeing the way his face would light up when talking about you and the boys. 
Thank you Doug, you were a loving person and I hope that I can make you proud.
