Edna Connelly Mustin

Edna Connelly Mustin was born on May 14, 1958. She grew up in McLean, VA. She attended St. John's, Bishop O'Connell for 3 years, and graduated McLean High School. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Edna Connelly of McLean, VA; brother, John Connelly, Jr. and sister, Lillian McMantus. She is survived by her sister, Mary Hahn of Arizona; her brothers, Ralph Connelly of Sterling, VA, Joseph Connelly of Clover, South Carolina, and Steven Connelly of Sterling, VA; her two sons, Stephen Mustin, Jr. and Robert Mustin and her three grandchildren, Kaylee, Jameson, and Jagger Mustin. After high school, Ms. Mustin went on to assistant teach CCD at St. Thomas A. Becket in Reston, VA. In 2006 she made her cursillo and served on Kiros Prison Ministries Teams for Kiros inside and out, until 2011. She also volunteered for Prison Ministry at St. John Newman for Catholic Charities entering the ADC in Fairfax for 2 years. In 2006 she also became a hospice volunteer until 2010. Visiting many sick hospice patents, this was a passion for her. in 2015, she moved to Norfolk and settled in at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. She took part in many of the adult formation classes, retreats, small communities and completed CHRP. She served on CHRP as well. Until her illness, her biggest passion was serving as a curbside counselor for Hope 4 Life from 2018 to 2020. Arrangements are under the care of Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
